W dniu 28.05.2019 roku odbyło się pierwsze spotkanie z nowego cyklu Strofy Regionalne. Gościem spotkania była pani Janina Janakakos-Szymańska – poetka, prozaik, animatorka kultury, prezes Oddziału Ciechanowskiego Stowarzyszenia Autorów Polskich. Na spotkaniu pani Janina Janakakos-Szymańska prezentowała swoje wiersze, wydane w tomiku „Już nie zagra buzuki”. Wiersze naszego gościa czytała także pani Ewa Puternicka. Atrakcją wieczoru był występ pani Joanny Kiszkurno i Ewy Jeziółkowskiej, które wykonały kilka piosenek. Oprawą muzyczną zajął się pan Wojtek Gęsicki. Mimo niesprzyjającej pogody sala zapełniona była gośćmi i spotkanie przebiegło w bardzo miłej atmosferze.
W piątek 10 maja br. w sali konferencyjnej Powiatowej Biblioteki Publicznej im. Zygmunta Krasińskiego w Ciechanowie odbyła się wyjątkowa uroczystość wręczenia prestiżowej nagrody Liber Mazovia, przyznawanej corocznie przez kapitułę złożoną z przedstawicieli Redakcji „Tygodnika Ciechanowskiego” oraz przedstawicieli Powiatowej Biblioteki Publicznej im. Zygmunta Krasińskiego w Ciechanowie. Tegorocznym laureatem tego wyróżnienia został Paweł Słupski – autor monografii gminy Nowe Miasto pt.” Historia Gminy Nowe Miasto. Czas mija, pamięć pozostaje”, a tym samym jego publikacja ogłoszona została regionalną Książką Roku 2018.
W dniu 11.04.2019 w Powiatowej Bibliotece Publicznej im. Zygmunta Krasińskiego w Ciechanowie odbyła się lekcja nt. „Nasz region w legendzie”. Uczestnikami lekcji były dzieci z Niepublicznej Szkoły Podstawowej w Goryszach. Dzieci, na początku spotkania, obejrzały film o zamku ciechanowskim. Potem wysłuchały kilku legend związanych z naszym miastem, obejrzały wystawkę książek i wykonały rysunki nawiązujące do tej tematyki. Zwieńczeniem zajęć było zwiedzanie biblioteki.
Dnia 3.04.2019 roku w Powiatowej Bibliotece Publicznej im. Zygmunta Krasińskiego odbyło się VII spotkanie z cyklu „Spacerkiem po Ciechanowie”, które prowadziła pani Barbara Bielasta. Tym razem „spacerowaliśmy” po ulicy Zielonej Ścieżce i Strażackiej. W tej wirtualnej przechadzce uczestniczyło około 50 osób.
Dnia 16 lutego (sobota) 2019 r. o godz. 10.30 w sali konferencyjnej w nowym lokalu Powiatowej Biblioteki Publicznej im. Zygmunta Krasińskiego w Ciechanowie przy ul. Warszawskiej 34 (budynek dawnego Hotelu Polonia, II piętro) Dział Informacyjno-Bibliograficzny i Wiedzy o Regionie zorganizował spotkanie osób zainteresowanych genealogią. Było to już 26 spotkanie z cyklu „Interesuje nas genealogia”. Tym razem gościem był dr inż. Maciej Adam Markowski członek zarządu Warszawskiego Towarzystwa Genealogicznego. Tematem wystąpienia było „Jak szukać informacji o przodkach w bibliotekach tradycyjnych i cyfrowych”.
Jak zwykle był też czas na indywidualną wymianę poglądów, możliwość zasięgnięcia rady, przegląd regionalnych nowości wydawniczych itd
21 listopada 2018 r. odbyło się kolejne tj. 6. spotkanie z cyklu „Spacerkiem po Ciechanowie” (po raz pierwszy w sali konferencyjnej nowej siedziby Biblioteki przy ul. Warszawskiej 34). Tym razem wirtualnie spacerowaliśmy ulicą Mickiewicza wraz z prowadząca spotkanie - regionalistką Barbarą Bielastą. Ulica Mickiewicza to bardzo krótka ulica, znajdująca się między ulicami: Plac Kościuszki , 11 Pułku Ułanów Legionowych, Grodzką i Warszawską. W latach 30 XIX wieku ulica nazywała się Małowarszawska, natomiast w czasie wojny Wilhelmstrasse. Nie wiadomo kiedy pojawiła się nazwa Mickiewicza. Podstawy do poznania historii ulicy były mapy, plany, fotografie i a przede wszystkim ogromna wiedza prelegentki. Bardzo cenne okazały się uwagi licznie zgromadzonych uczestników spotkania.
2 czerwca 2018 r., po raz pierwszy w nowym lokalu Powiatowej Biblioteki Publicznej w Ciechanowie przy ul. Warszawskiej 34. odbyło się 25. jubileuszowe spotkanie osób zainteresowanych genealogią.
Dział Informacyjno-Bibliograficzny i Wiedzy o Regionie Powiatowej Biblioteki Publicznej im. Zygmunta Krasińskiego w Ciechanowie zaprasza na 25 spotkanie osób zainteresowanych genealogią. Tym razem swój sposób na poznawanie i opracowanie historii rodziny zaprezentuje Pani Katarzyna Solak – archiwista, genealog, autorka książki „Dwie rodziny - dwa światy”.
Jak zwykle będzie też czas na indywidualną wymianę poglądów, możliwość zasięgnięcia rady, przegląd regionalnych nowości wydawniczych itd.
Spotkanie odbędzie się 2 czerwca (sobota) 2018 r. o godz. 10.00 w sali konferencyjnej w nowym lokalu biblioteki przy ul. Warszawskiej 34 (budynek dawnego Hotelu Polonia, II piętro).

W sobotę 9 grudnia 2017 r. w Czytelni Regionalnej Powiatowej Biblioteki Publicznej w Ciechanowie odbyło się 24 spotkanie osób zainteresowanych genealogią.
6 listopada 2017 roku w Czytelni Naukowej PBP , nasza koleżanka Barbara Bielasta - bibliotekarka, regionalistka i publicystka zaprzyjaźnionym bibliotekarkom z powiatu ciechanowskiego zaprezentowała swoją nową książkę pt. „HISTORIA GMINY REGIMIN”.
